5 important initiatives

In the development of the society, in the destiny of the country and the nation, the physical and spiritual maturity and intellectual potential of the growing young generation play an important role. After all, as the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted, “Today, when the world is changing rapidly, various new threats and dangers are emerging that undermine the stability and solid development of nations, spirituality and enlightenment, moral education, education of young people , it is more important than ever to focus on the pursuit of maturity.”

A number of important documents have been adopted regarding the improvement of the state policy regarding youth, protection of the rights and interests of young people, and the creation of necessary conditions for their mature adulthood, defined in the Action Strategy for the five priority directions of the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. practical work was started, certain results were achieved. Even so, the work carried out in this regard is always large-scale and remains relevant.

From this point of view, under the leadership of the President, on March 19, 2019, “On the implementation of 5 important initiatives to increase interest in culture, art, sports, information technologies, reading books in the effective organization of work with young people ” at the video selector meeting, issues aimed at youth development were discussed and 5 important initiatives related to the fields were put forward.

These are the following: The first initiative is to increase the interest of young people in music, painting, literature, theater and other types of art.

The second initiative is about physical training of young people and creation of necessary conditions for them to show their abilities in the field of sports.

The third initiative is about organizing the effective use of computer technologies and the Internet among the population and young people.

The fourth initiative concerns raising the morale of the population, especially young people, and widely promoting reading among them.

The fifth initiative is on issues of systematic organization of women’s employment.
