An event on the occasion of the 583rd anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Alisher Navoi is being held on Adiblar Avenue in our capital.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the vice-rector of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and the heads of the center for increasing the social activity of students and pupils, state and public figures, poets, writers, literary experts, students and pupils, creative organizations and representatives of the general public are participating.
During the event, it is planned to lay flowers at the statue of Alisher Navoi, the Sultan of Poetry.
Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Avezimbetovich, Deputy Minister Sarvarkhan Munavvarkhanovich and the team of the Ministry and the Center are also participating in the event, which started under the sound of a military orchestra.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, People’s Writer of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Sayyid.
