The conservatory is the main higher education institution in the country for musical art. He has been providing methodological support to all higher and secondary special educational institutions specialized in the field of music in the republic in these fields, as well as in the development of educational plans and programs of higher educational institutions related to the field in Asia.
Professors and teachers of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and young scientific researchers and masters research the source studies of Uzbek classical music, heritage, creativity, performance, educational criteria in the past and present, Uzbek musical folklore and the study and development of their national traditions, values, genres and examples, influence on modern music creativity, study of the classical music culture of Eastern peoples in the past and present, musical thinking, tradition, creativity and performance separate and comparative study of the issues of music education: continuous education system and problems; scope and development criteria of historical, theoretical and practical processes, introduction of new pedagogical technologies; They are carrying out scientific research on the study of the compatibility of the educational system with universal standards and its uniqueness, compositional creativity: musical creativity of world nations, Uzbek compositional schools and representatives, musical historical, theoretical and practical criteria.
Talented students studying at the conservatory also take part in prestigious national and international music competitions, provide financial and moral encouragement to students who have won the Grant Prize and 1st place, guide them to innovative thinking according to their field of study. Effective work was also organized on education. Starting from 2021, the introduction of the Rector’s scholarship of the conservatory motivates young people to work on themselves, to create new musical works, to interpret new performance styles, and to participate in national and international scientific and practical conferences with their scientific and creative developments. The scientific and creative developments created by our students are analyzed in the section of faculties, and according to the results of the scientific and creative works, they receive the copyright. Seminars and meetings are systematically organized among them, inviting experts regularly.
